Busy day for Probandit

Was hoping it wouldn't be too busy while I was away. However Probandit had 4 bets today which was a bit of a pain considering the speed of this mobile internet. 2 places was all that was managed to produce another loss on the day. Its been a poor month for Paul who has had no luck at all with 2nd being the favourite position!

Equine however continues its great summer. Another winner with Collateral Damage (4/1 to 3/1). Would have got best prices more than likely if I had moved my backside quicker. However the heat has turned me into slow motion man.

Live from the Algarve

Chilling out and relaxing in the sun. Missed the only bet on Sunday due to flight delay....bird strike on the previous flight. The bet was a 2 point loser for the Form Analyst.

Today's only bet was also a 2 point loser for the Form Analyst which I did place. Royal Flynn (6/1) gave me no holiday profit.

A special note must be given to the Legends golf service, which as I have jealously just read, gave JP his biggest ever winner....and it was on betfair which makes it even better! So congrats to the Legends and JP on that big win. Guess who feels stupid now!

Prayer answered

Only bet of the day was a double for Equine. Bertoliver and Fanjura won their respective races for an unexpected and much needed profit. I was however lazy today and not expecting the bet to win didn't go shopping for the best prices which has cost me several hundred pounds. I ended up with 4/1 and 6/1 respectively.

So a great Saturday. Tomorrow, assuming my mobile internet works ok, I will be posting here from a luxurious villa on the Algarve. Possible i might miss a few bets due to flight times but at least I didn't miss todays.

Painful

Still no damn winners! The idea of holding a portfolio was to break up bad runs. Ive lost count this year how many of these bad runs they all go on together..at the same time. The pain......!!!

To add to my agony its the weekend tomorrow....the crematorium of my betting bank.

Please, please tipsters give me some winners tomorrow....

Urgghhhh!

The poor week continues and winners seem elusive. I did comment towards the end of July about how I would cope with the inevitable downturn after the ridiculously good purple patch. Now I know. It is actually physically painful and I would say my swearing has increased a touch on daily result review. Surely I can't have only one good month in a 12 month period?

Again today the first Equine bet was the key bet with the Legends also having a 2pt bet in the 2.50 York. Acrostic (6/1) placed for Equine with the Legends bet Lovelace (9/1) finishing down in 9th. From this point in the day I knew I was destined for a poor one. Only Lithaam (6/1) at Chepstow for Probandit brought any return. Its hard work at the moment!

Beaten by a neck!

So nearly, nearly a good one today. Hamish McGonagall (13/2 to 6/1) beaten in the last few strides by Barney McGrew in the first at York for Equine. The winner was a 25/1 tip for the Legends today and although I don't back them on Tuesday I'm pleased to see JC get things back in gear over the last few days. I over staked on Hamish McGonagall due to the Hills refer to trader crap, though it turned out ok today.

Another loser today for the Form Analyst today with Millfield (8/1) finishing 5th. Not a great run for them at the moment though no need to panic just yet. I must admit though the over confidence from some of the members does make me feel slightly uneasy. It's a tough old game this and there is no such thing as a "sure thing".

Decent start to the week

Probandit brought its poor run to an end (hopefully!) with just under 3 points profit today. One winner from 3 bets with First Blade (7/2) coming home first at Wolverhampton.

Elsewhere a place for the Form Analyst with Trumpet Lily (8/1) and a single loser for Equine.

A good steady start to the week.

Saturday Profit

Thanks to Equine I made some money on a Saturday. A rarity indeed! Swift Gift (4/1) won the 3.45 Newbury in a race that also involved 2 e/w bets from the Form Analyst. Masia Moon (12/1) finished in 3rd for them.

Probandit continued its awful run. 3 bets failed to get anywhere near making profit today.

As for the Canbet crap below I've given up and withdrawn my cash. Maybe I am wrong about the rules but I know they have paid BOG before. The fact the transaction doesn't even show up on my account history is suspicious. Also the email advertised on their webpage mail@canbet.com has returned several Permanent Delivery Failures. Finally to have a customer service guy just decide to ignore me is down right rude. So f@ck you Randal and Canbet.

Friday update

No post last night as I was trying to get to the bottom of a problem with Canbet. I had backed Seamus Shindig there at 9/2, being the Legends winning bet yesterday. For some reason there is no transaction history on the bet, though my balance has increased. However as the SP was 11/2 it has not increased as much as I think it should have. Obviously without being able to see the transaction I can't tell what they have paid out on. I am pretty sure Canbet are BOG, so I will post up what I think I should have won and update later if there is a problem. As per JP I didn't back Malt or Mash the other winner for Legends. Again no value at 11/10 when the favourite was withdrawn. Nevertheless a great few days for the Legends.

Equine won the last of its 3 bets yesterday to save me from a bashing. Whiskey Junction winning at 6/4.

The Form Analyst's only bet again finished strongly and would have won with a few more yards. Royal Composer (9/1 to 8/1) finished in 3rd.

So assuming Canbet get me the info ( I have asked them at least 40 times for it now) the results for Friday are:

JP plagerism

Exact copy of JP's bets today, though to different stakes and slightly different prices. So if you have already read his blog today you will know what is coming.

Great run for the Legends at the moment winning with Prime Exhibit (11/1 to 10/1). Staked £55 by error instead of £50 so the luck is still with me..somewhere! With the reduced number of bets I am doing with the Legends at the moment I had been tempted to put all services on a par at £100 per point. However with all the chopping and changing I have been doing this year I'm going to leave things as they are until the new year.

Equine went for a low odds bet, which as I have said before they tend to do to help break up losing runs. Igoyougo (6/4) won easily at Newcastle.

A much needed profit today..its been a while.

Frustrated

Bitterly disappointing day as this bad run continues. Starting to give back a good chunk of what I won last month. Despite that it was a good day for the Legends. A winner with Fin Vin de leu (6/1) and a place Effistorm (13/2).

Other than that it was total frustration. I was convinced Equine had saved the day and stopped the rot with Navajo (9/2) in the last at Yarmouth. Once again half a horses head spoiled the day.

A couple of high odds bets from the Form Analyst in the space of 10 minutes saw Dudley Docker (16/1 to 12/1) come closest, finishing in 4th.

To top it all off my steady eddie Probandit is on the worst run for at least 6 months. Georgie Bee (9/1) and Upton Seas (6/4) failing to impress at Beverley.

Its all bust or boom at the moment...........would really appreciate something in the middle.

Only Equine played today with Salient (9/2) finishing 4th at Lingfield. Equines mention and non account bet tonight won at 9/1. Typical!

Also noticed the Legends had one bet tonight and a winner. Hopefully they are back in the rhythm for me tomorrow.

Cheers Ladbrokes

Pulled all my money out of Ladbrokes today..have been using them for over 4 years..but I'd rather have a "close my account letter" rather then the pathetic offering of £4 every bet. They can now rank themselves up there with Betfred and Boyles in the pathetic bookie table. Hills going the same way too, with the refer to trader for 15 minutes crap, while the prices drop everywhere else. The irony is they would have made money on me today as my losing streak moves into its 6th day in a row.

Crossbar hit by Probandit and The Form Analyst today...one winner a day should be enough to get me building the bank up...but the bookie problem has finally stirred me into action and steps are going to be taken this week.

Losing Run

I've now had 5 losing days in a row. Thankfully Monday and Tuesday saw me me profit to the tune of just over 3.3 k. However what I would do for a winner at the moment.

The 5.10 Redcar saw me staking 3 bets with a total of £550. The Form Analyst covered Elkhorn(14/1 to 10/1) and Conjecture (12/1 to 13/2). Struggled a bit with the prices with the bets coming in fairly early today as the odds were under pressure. Another problem would be that Ladbrokes will hardly give me £5 on an odds on bet since about Wednesday. This is more the pity since they have just gone BOG. So I now have about 5 bookies that" in total" would give me £25 on an evens bet. Useless!

Probandit covered Titus Gent (9/2) in the above race. It finished down in 5th. They also covered the 4.35 Tipperary. Managed a place with Salgrev (3/1) in 2nd , while Waterside (5/1) finished in 3rd. Probandit is currently on the worst run its had for a while.

Yes I think I must have lost 10k this year alone on weekend betting. What the hell is the point in me doing this all week and then getting crapped on when Saturday arrives. Quick Friday update

Entertaining tonight..so just escaped to post up the blog for a few minutes.

Not great at all today. Losers all round. Probandit and Equine tipped the same horse Kingsgate Castle (10/1 down to 9/2( for Probandit). So that horse was going to make or break the day. It didn't run well at all so the scene was set for a poor day. The Legends dreadful form continues with 3 more losers today.

That's it can only hope for better tomorrow.

Disappointing

Fairly quiet day which was disappointing by my recent high standards.

The Legends played 3 today and got nothing back. Probandit started well with a place for Devoted To You (5/1) at Leopardstown but ended badly. Dressed to Dance (15/8) and Obe Gold (5/2) finished 2nd and 3rd at Bath.

You can't win all the time but hopefully I will tomorrow!

So close

The Form Analyst came within a couple of necks/heads of a really top day. Namir (10/1) came closest and would probably have won with a few metres more track. Later Millfield (Betfair SP) left the stalls 3 hours behind the other racers and still managed to get close..but just not quite.

Probandit and Equine both had losing days with Izagonawin (7/2) and Sion Hill (3/1) both finishing well down the field.

As it was Wednesday I also followed the Legends. We got off to a reasonable start with Recession Proof (9/4) winning in the first at Pontefract. However we also had 4 losers in the day.

Wash out!

The wash out of the later races actually suited me today. Probandit had already profit in the bag with Redwater River (9/1 to 15/2) winning the 3.50 Catterick. Only played one tip from Equine today (which was in one of the abandoned races) as the value was taken out of the first tip. The price crashed from 25/1 to 6/1 in the space of a few minutes. Just as the message came through some idiot decided to phone me in work...so there was no way I was taking the 6/1.

Anyhow more good profit today..and I am wondering how I will cope when this purple patch ends.

Wow

Just two races were bet on today and the profit was not too bad at all!

First up was The Form Analyst with Fossgate (100/30 R4) winning nicely at Ripon to get the month back on track.

Next up was Equine backing two horses in the 7.15 Carisle. Just before the race I thought, what the hell lets try one of these reverse forecasts. So I did! Inheritor (10/1 to 17/2) won the race with Legal Legacy(7/2) coming in 2nd. I'll add the bonus forecast winnings to Equines total to account for the lower prices I managed. This is it though for forecasts..I got lucky..but now its back to disciplined staking.

Not great again!

August is off to a poor start and I'm hoping it is not going to end up as the antithesis of July.

The Form Analyst had another poor show today with Stevie Thunder (7/1) at Chester finishing down in 9th. Bit of a losing run in progress at the moment...so this will be a chance for me to see what the service is really like. Nothing like a losing run to sort the men out from the boys.

Also a disappointing day for Probandit. Ucanchoose (7/1) at Cork and Hypnotic Gaze (3/1) at Chester failed to place.

Predicabily though, success for Equine. Doncaster Rover(15/8 to 7/4) ensured profit for the day winning at Chester. With a profit on the day already bagged Kingswinford (5/1) and The Jobber (10/1 to 7/1) failed to add to the total.

Could have been worse

A common theme at the moment is how bad tipsters are on weekends with Saturday being the favourite day for heavy losses. From January to June this year I can't remember many happy Saturdays. July came along, and it may be coincidence, but I had hardly had a bet on Saturday or Sunday......and have a look at my P&L for that month below!

The Form Analyst surprised me with 3 bets today. Katiyra (15/2 to 7/1), Hawkit (14/1) and Goodbye Mr Bond (8/1). None of the 3 ran particularly well and it is always disappointing to not get a bit of a return on e/w bets.

Due to the high activity from The Form Analyst I decided to skip the Legends bets today.

On a better note the Probandit bets performed well today and I'm not sure how we didn't get a winner out of one of them. Ninth House (15/2 to 7/1) was beaten by a neck, Effigy (12/1) was beaten into 3rd and finally at Lingfield, Hi Shinko (11/1) was beaten by a head.

Nevertheless I still hate Saturday bets..especially with uncertain ground.
