Another Ridiculous day

Last 10 days or so have been profit , profit and more profit!

Pride of place today has to go to MOB racing. Following on from yesterdays 9/1 winner we had a winner at 25/1 with Blueberry Boy winning at Punchestown. I did get a rule 4 though still managed 14 points profit on the day.

The Legends continued their rich vein of form also today. A place for Chillberry Hill (1pt e/w) at mostly 16/1 at Hereford was followed up by a winning 2pt bet at Punchestown for Jessies Dream at 2/1.

I have now become an avid fan of Irish racing after the last 2 days!

Another really good day

Tipping Legends again were top of the league today with 2 wins from 3 bets. Two winners from the Punchestown festival with Notre Pere (2 pointer) 5/2 and J'y Vole 7/2 both winning like odds on favourites. Another thing I found out today was that Canbet only pay BOG on UK racing...not Irish racing as unfortunately J'y Vole drifted to 5/1 before the off....something to watch out for!

MOB racing also had an excellent day picking up 8 points. Took the early price of 9/1 for Total Gallery at Ascot which proved to be the correct decision as SP was 11/2.

Probandit was the only downside today, dropping just over a point with only a place from 2 races.

Just like Barcelona...

We didn't manage a winner today for the first time in a while. Very quiet day though with only a handful of bets.

Castellina 5/1 nor An Cathaoir Mor at 9/1 ew scored for the Legends today.

Elsewhere MOB managed two non runners and a 4th on a place bet for Always Cruising 20/1.

So no scoring , no points gained and no profit but no real damage done.

Legends continue good run

Another good day from the guys from Tipping Legends. Two pointer Ace of Spies got the day off to a great start winning at Newcastle at mostly 3/1. Flag Flier 12/1 missed a place at Plumpton by a neck and the gamble on Celtic Sultan 14/1 didn't give us the result we wanted.

Elsewhere Probandit concentrated on a single race , the 7.10 Southwell. However Jord and Folly Lodge could only manage second and third.

MOB's tip was a non runner.

Weekend Round Up (1)

A trip to watch Man Utd over the weekend and what a match to pick. A beautiful evening in Manchester and 7 goals right in front of me topped of a great weekend. However it was a struggle getting the bets on. Various attempts at the airport and the hotel saw me manage to get all of Fridays and Saturdays bets on...but I failed miserably on Sunday to get a single bet on. It seems to have worked out ok though...as I probably only would have broke even with a few losers from TL and a few winners from MOB.

Just going to update the results quickly as I have no idea how each bet ran.

Really Really good day :)

TL stepped up to the mark today with 3 wins (2 strong bets) and a 10/1 place. The role of honour was as follows: Possol won at 7/2 (25p rule 4), Manly Money BOG 13/2 (1pt E/W), South of the Border mostly 3/1 and a bit of 11/4 ( 2pt bet) and a place for Ace of spies at 10/1. Quite a day and the sort of day the TL tipsters have pulled off before since I have being subscribing.

Probandit also continued its climb on the month with just over a point profit on the day. 2.00 Beverley saw us start the day with La Capriosa winning a two horse dutch at 9/4. Later in the 3.30 a place for Snow Dancer on betfair.

No gain for MOB today though with two races and two losers.

Flying to Manchester early tomorrow so may not be able to update until Sunday night. Best of luck to you all for the weekend... I can feel a much needed profitable weekend is on the cards.

All seasons in one day

A real up and down day. At 5 pm it was looking like a dreadful, dreadful day. Legends were 5 points down and MOB's three bets had all been beaten. It looked like I was in for a hammering!

5.35 Perth changed the day for the first time . And Whatever Else winning at bits of 6/1 and 11/2 thus turning a small profit on the day for TL.

7.50 Kempton and Hart of Gold wins for Probandit at 15/4 and 7/2. The day had totally changed on two bets and, with a 4 horse dutch to go at 9.20, I was looking at a fairly good day. However the up and down day took the downward slope in the last race. With 4 horses covered in the race we managed the 2nd, 3rd 4th and 5th places . Very frustrating indeed.

Shouldn't moan too much as at 5pm I would have gladly taken the final tally with open arms.

Breakeven

Seems to be a lot of racing at the moment. I'm guessing though it must be pretty poor quality as the tipsters are not getting too heavily involved.

Probandit was active in a couple of races today at low stakes. Places for Dancing Wave 10/1 and The Tatling also at 10/1 brought a small profit.

Mob managed a winner today at shortish odds. Mastoora winning at Folkstone priced at 11/4. No luck with the other bet Devil To Pay.

TL gave out a single bet with Whiskey Junction 4/1 running in 5th at the 6.50 Bath.

Yesterdays losses recovered

Nice steady Monday to start the week.

Single race for Probandit to continue its successful month. Despite 2 horses withdrawing just before the start, and costing us a 30p deduction, This Ones for Eddy made all to take a victory.

Three bets for TL. Not off to a great start at Pontefract with Invincible Force 14/1 coming in last of all. However Mr Crystal won the 3.40 at 4/1 to give us a few points profit on the day. Final bet of the day at the 5.05 Hexham Don't Be So Sakee 10/1 didn't increase the bank.

MOB had one non runner today.

Good solid start to the week and would take this kind of profit every day if i could.

Slow down Sunday

Very quiet Sunday with only MOB in action. Two bets from them today both at Wincanton. Captain Marlon beaten into second and John Charles hauled down by other fallers.

Woke to find the golf had gone the wrong way. Markus Brier posted a 1 over par on the final day which pushed him out of the places altogether.

We move onto another week and hopefully we can get out of first gear. A gear we would appear to have been stuck in since December!

MOB again saves the day!

Thanks goodness MOB is having a great run at the moment. Today they were so close to having a very good day. In the end just the one winner. Took a 9/1 morning price on So Now (Bangor 2.40) and watched it drift way out to 14/1. No chance of a win here were the thoughts. Wrong again a winner at 14/1 with a BOG bookie. Cacinetto had just been beaten by a neck at 14/1 ten minutes earlier at Thirsk. A non runner in the Scottish National but another 11 points to add to the tally.

Again nothing going for the Legends on a Saturday. Two strong bets in the Scottish National didn't increase the points total( A clean sweep of no profit, I think from all 4 nationals this year , from all tipsters!). To sum up the way Saturdays are going for the Legends at the moment Halla San was beaten by half a length at 11/1 in the 4.00 Ayr.

Still in with a shot in the golf tomorrow on a 40/1 bet. Will update on Sunday.

Pro"F"it Bandit

Pride of place today went to Probandit with close to 9.5 points on the day. Three races covered with various profit in all. First up was Jebel Tara, 3.05 Thirsk, winning at mostly 8/1. Winners also for Steel Cut 33/20, 4.30 Thirsk and finally 8.55 Dundalk, Coolcullen Times at 9/4.

Tipping Legends had a couple of bets today. Nothing for Magical Legend in a much delayed race at Ayr. The second bet I managed to watch while having a late dinner. Leamington Lad ran a tremendous race leading the whole way..until the last few yards. So close to a big win but it still took us into profit for the day.

Just the one running bet for MOB today Cheveton , 2.40 Newbury, stopped the winning run, coming in 5th.

MOB strikes again!

A repeat of yesterday as MOB turned what could have been a near whitewash into a small profit. Though it took until the final race at Newmarket and the length of a short head for Perpetually to win at mostly 11/1(Thanks for the £8 at 12/1 Sportingbet!). A change on yesterday though as the winning SP was a mere 4/1. So I'm still unsure whether to take morning price or run with Betfair SP. Some other good runs by the other tips with a couple of seconds and a third...but no more points!

Gala Evening a 12/1, a one point e/w bet ran well for the Legends today to place. No other gains however and I look forward to a good end to the month for the Legends.

MOB strikes

MOB racing pulled off a successful day and saved my day even with them being on half stakes. A busy card from them today showed there was no sitting back and defending their great April start. Wins for Tasheba 100/30 in the 2.10 Cheltenham, Nehaam 9/2 in the 3.00 Newmarket and From Dawn to Dusk 13/2 in the 3.20 Cheltenham put me into profit with them. Finally their final bet in the 5.20 Newmarket Invincible Heart nearly pulled off a win at 16/1 but was beaten into second. One thing of note today was that the first two winners had SP's of 9/2 and 8/1 respectively. I was unlucky to not be on BOG bets today. But it does me make me wonder should I use Betfair SP for their bets. I'm not a great fan of betfair as I find the commission kills the profits and with all the services I have used before using betfair would have made a substantial decrease in my profits. It does of course save the hassle of the stingy bookies offering pathetic stakes and having to bet at 4 or more bookies for a £100 bet. I will contact the guys for figures on returns to betfair SP and early odds.

Elsewhere today a dry spell for the Legends, though their main bet of the day was a non runner. While Probandit showed a tiny profit with a place for the single bet of the day New Beginning at Beverley.

Back to work tomorrow

Actually looking forward to getting back to work! Too much time on my hands on the extended Easter break so will be good to get my mind back on something rather than the horses. Has been a pretty disappointing few days with only daily losses to report, though still up on the month.

A brief summary of today:

Tipping Legends 3 bets no gain.
MOB 2 bets no gain.
Probandit, a winner in the 3.20 Yarmouth, which I managed to get BOG, for Lovely Thought SP 7/2..though it was on advised small stakes.

Nothing to excited about

A huge selection of races today for Easter Monday and plenty of bets for me to get my teeth into. In the end though just the one winner.

The Legends had 5 bets in total today. 3 were in the Irish Grand National. Don't think any tipster has managed a winning tip in any of the Nationals so far this season as the big odds shots are hitting the tape first. I suppose they are a bit of a lottery. Anyhow Arbor Supreme, Breaking Silence and Garde Champetre didn' t strike for me.

Probandit managed our only winner of the day. Kipchack won at Redcar at bits of 9/2 and 4/1. The other bet Smokey Rye 13/2 managed third place.

Still to lose my virginity to MOB racing. Supa Tramp 12/1 and Walton Way 9/2, both at Plumpton, both failed to get me off the mark. I was prepared for this dip in points after the start they had to the month. Hopefully they will to continue to bet as normal and not try to protect this months points haul. I'm hopeful they will come good for me.

Some luck but no profit

Thought I was heading for a disaster today until Aran Concerto came in to win by a short head at Fairyhouse for the Legends. The two stronger bets of the day Thoroughly Red (1pt E/W) and the 3 point bet Voler La Vedette had previously failed to produce.

Probandit had a dutch style bet in the 4.20 Musselburgh. What was remarkable about this race was that in total Probandit covered 4 horses and MOB racing had 1 horse. 5 horses in race of 11 starters and I managed only 1 in the top three! My weekend luck eh? The place was no good though as all bets were win only.

Though it is early days I think I may have brought my style of luck to MOB. 3 bets today and no points.

Will post up the golf now as well as I can't see any of our bets getting anything in the Masters.

Thank goodness the weekend is over! Saturday and Sunday bets at the moment are nothing but a disaster for me.

MOB Racing

Having kept an eye on MOB since they contacted me a few months ago I have decided after close review to run with them as a possible service. April has started in storming fashion for them. I will be running only with half point bets until the end of April until I get used to their style of betting. However it appears it will suit me well as the bets seem to be on the range of odds that I like to play with ..7/1 or over.

The team seems very honest and genuine, and we'll see how things go over the next few months.

Details of MOB along with the other services I follow will be on the left on the main blog.

Tell me why I don't like Saturdays

The Boomtown Rats obviously got their song title wrong. Saturdays not Mondays are the days to not like. A total whitewash today and I think it could be 7 or 8 Saturdays in a row that I have taken heavy losses or at least no profit. Certainly something I need to look at in my strategy... is the racing just too competitive on Saturdays? Tomorrow when I get a chance I will trace back my results on Saturdays for the last 6 months and see what sort of a profit I show. It is certainly a disappointing finish to a great week.

Tipping Legends posted 5 bets in total today. Had high hopes for Sochatoa in the 3.10 Kempton 9/2 as it was also tipped by Probandit. Today's strong bet Noir et Vert in the 3.25 Carlisle 9/2 never got going today either.

Probandit after a nice start to the month are leveling out now. Two system bets today with a couple of saver bets. Favourite Saint Arch was disappointing in the 3.10 Kempton while Mr Willis finished 3rd in the 4.50.

Also of note today was that I have decided to follow MOB racing. Some of you will already be aware of this service from other blogs. They have had a great start to April and have been consistent since they started. I am only starting with half points this month and will review the bets so I can get used to their style of bets. Will make a post on them after this and will add a services I follow tab on the left of the blog. First bet from MOB today managed a second place. Indy Mood 11/1 came in second well behind the winner in the 4.30 Carlisle.

Pre day off Profits!

Another good day for the Legends who managed a 50% strike rate today out of 4 bets.

Rash Judgement was the first winner of the day at 6/1 in our bet at Folkstone. I later noted I had missed the reverse forecast bet in the race, with Vhujon. An unusual bet but one probably down to the recent success of Nosehead . You can view his recent huge success on my sites of interest. Congrats again to him. Anyhow I was lucky today as the forecast didn't win. Mental note now to read my text and emails more closely and also to stop people annoying me with work issues in work, when I am trying to get my bets on!

Second success of the day was Fier Normand at 5/1. This 1pt e/w bet won by half a length to boost my profits for the day in the 4.00 Ludlow.

Things are looking good for April so far which is more remarkable as it usually a poor month for me. Still a long way to go but confidence is up!

Few points down

Very busy day alround for a Wednesday. Was surprised both tipsters supplied so many bets but in the end very little damage was done.

Probandit covered 3 races today. We managed one win, a saver bet, on Magical Speedfit 4/1 in the 4.50 Brighton. The system bets Cecily , Wotashirtful (Both at Brighton) Bluebok and Sherjawy (At Kempton) didnt make the winners podium. Again we were covered by laying at Betfair SP on these though there wasn't much movement on morning price and SP.

Tipping Legends had 4 one point bets. Managed a winner with Kings Supreme 11/4 at Brighton, the other 3 failing to increase the bank.

Just what the doctor ordered

Hangover gone and a superb day for the Legends. Pickering ran in a winner in our first race of the day in the 2.40 Pontefract advised at 1 point e/w at 14/1. The horse had not run for 7 months! I managed a bit of 14's and some 12's but was delighted to rake in over 14 points profit on the day. Two other bets on the day, Days of Pleasure (Fontwell 4.30) and Lord Oroko (Pontefract 3.40) didn't increase our haul.

No all weather racing today so no bet for Probandit, but April is now off to a flyer.

Still feeling rough

And the racing didn't improve my lingering hangover.

Tipping Legends had a couple of bets today. Not sure how they ran today but Zowington 9/1 and the two point bet Loom 11/4 didn't increase my funds when I checked the bookie's accounts.

Probandit dutched Barodine 13/2 and Wester Lodge 15/2 in the 2.10 Wolverhampton. No winners I'm afraid but the staking plan reduced the loss with Betfair SP being lower than the prices I had achieved. The staking plan again proving successful.

Lets hope that by this time tomorrow this hangover has gone and we are back in luck in the bets.

End of week update

The finish of a very successful week and some much needed profit. Sunday had a quiet finish to it but this outshone by my hangover and the excitement of the finish to the Man Utd - Villa game.

Two losers for the Tipping Legends today though Will If I Want came very close in the 4.20 Hexham at 7/2. No luck either for Capybara at 6/1 in the 4.40 Southwell.

The golf nearly brought some profit with Alistair Forsyth finishing tied 7th 3 shots off the winner at the Portuguese Open. His 2nd day 73 probably cost us at least a place.

Time to nurse this hangover with some chicken soup and I hope someone out there managed a £100 win bet on the national winner.

Got hauled off to a wedding on Friday afternoon and was unable to put on any of Saturdays bets as I was stuck on a remote island! In the end I was probably grateful as Tipping Legends had their best performances on the Thursday and Friday. Eventful day to say the least

A successful day but boy what a day it could have been.

First day of the Aintree festival and the Legends were heavily involved. The day started with a disappointment when the 3 point bet Hebridean didn't perform in a highly competitive race. Things picked up in the next with a place for Albertas Run at 16/1 and 12/1. The next race saw a place for Having a Cut at 18/1 and 16/1. Then came the 4.20 at Aintree!

Being at work I managed to follow the race only on betfair. As the race ran its course I started to notice the 50/1 shot Lord Jay Jay odds slowly come in. Then they came in some more and soon I was thinking this has a chance.. a real chance. In the end it was beaten by a length and I missed out on my highest odds winner. (previously 40/1). Even watching betfair it was exciting!

I left for home thinking of what could have been only to discover in the next race Deep Purple backed at 33/1 and 25/1 came a close second only beaten due to a late error.

So a highly exciting first day and a successful one also............but it was so close to being a corker.

Moving onto Probandit. Last night I reviewed the new staking plan and got to grips with it. It actally makes a lot of sense. I had not used betfair SP before and this was my main stalling point. Once I understood it fully I made the decision to run with it from today. Today it worked well. Both the two system horses prices came in and I reduced the losses by laying them at betfair SP. A big bonus was that in the race , the 6.55 Kempton, one of the safety bets came in at 10/1. Thanks to "Having a Ball" I pulled in a tidy profit in the race. A good start to the new staking plan...but a long way to go before we see if it is as successful as the history shows it to be.

Welcome start to the month

Just Tipping Legends in action today and a nice start to the month. Two bets in total today. Step This Way not quite having the legs in the 3.20 Catterick. The winner today was in the form of Tayarat in the 4.40 Exeter. Advised at 5/1 but started at an SP of 11/2 I again missed out on BOG. I think these things even themselves out though over the year so I will continue to take the best price available, hopefully though that will be with a BOG bookie!
