Usual start after upping stakes!

Interesting day for the 1st of May. Firstly I have upped Probandit's stakes to £100 per point. Secondly one of my most successful services of last year started its season today in the form of Equine Investments. Neither started the month very well!

Probandit's 3 point dutch in the 3.05 Southwell failed as expected on new stakes. Does anyone ever get off to a good start when they up their stakes?

Equine Investments keenly anticipated first bet of the season Cheveton 11/4 at Musselburgh finished second.

Another non runner for MOB ...so it was up to the Legends to save the day. And, as seems to be the way at the moment, they delivered once again. A place for Bouggler at mostly 16/1 and a winning 3 point bet at 7/4 for Copper Bleu, both at Punchestown, ensured a good profit for the Legends to reduce the overall loss on the day. Indeed when their final bet,Thirty Two Red at Bangor, came in from 7/1 to 4/1 SP I was thinking we were on for further profit. It was not to be though.

Results from Today

  • Tipping Legends Profit of £256.50
  • Probandit.........Loss of £300.00
  • Equine..............Loss of £150.00

  1. Always the way mate! Upping the stakes = a run of losers, lowering the stakes = a run of winners. The racing Gods do like to mess us around that's for sure!
