First faller

Easy decision made today for me...Allroundtipster has to be dropped. I am aware it is unlikely to be continuing much into the future due to illness, so therefore I can no longer look at it as a long term investment. Today was nothing short of an absolute disaster. A loss of 32 points today even at only £20 a point is a hell of a beating...and the losses this month cannot be recouped if the future of the service is uncertain. Probably in hindsight when I was struggling to get stakes on the lower leagues matches I should have made the decision then..but you live in hope.

Only the won winner for Tipping Legends in the 2.35 Newbury - Darkness winning at 3/1. So a loss on the month will be recorded there also. In fact it looks highly likely when I tot things up that all the services have a managed a loss. I will update tomorrow after the golf with all the monthly and year to date figures.I will also be looking for a replacement service offering services uther than horse betting in order to try and diversify the portfolio. If anyone can recommend a service to me I would be delighted to hear from you.

Just to edit results..due to lack of proper results from the lower leagues it appears Corby Town actually only drew so results are even worse than earlier.. a 41 point loss on the day.I do not appreciate tipsters on the last day of the month trying to save monthly figures by going on the offensive on the last day to save face..with my money.I must admit to being pretty angry. Anyhow results updated below.

Really good day

Great day but it is consistency that we need to move forward. Today was a minor victory in the quest for a second income. Tomorrow will be a massive test too with Allroundtipster giving out a gargantuan number of points bet..my nerves are on end!

Tipping legends had a great day with bets placed on five horses in total. A great start to the day with Very Cool coming in nervously at 3/1 for a 2 point win. It was the next race however that made the day. Gala Evening winning the day at a nice 16/1 E/W advised. Twelve well needed points in total.

Probandit also had a good day with returns from all its bets today. Again a great start to the day with Statute Book winning at 8/5 and in the same race Josiah Bartlett(advised as a place) coming in second at 7/2. Next up was Smokey Ryder who added to the good day by winning at 7/2. In the final race of the days betting Step It Up saved a few points by coming in third at 3/1.

Hurrah

Only the Legends in action today with two bets. So first bet up for the day was the strong bet Predateur in the 3.00 Taunton. The bet finishes 3rd but was only 57 lengths behind the winner! Here we go again were the thoughts running through my head. But at last in the second race Kilcrea Asla wins at 6/1 E/W. So profit in the bag for the first time in a long while..and thank goodness. Wonder am I the only one that cant wait to see the back of February 2009?

Losing Legends

Quiet Monday sees the bank slip slightly further down.

Two bets and two losers from Tipping Legends..though it should be noted Bushwacker got backed down from 11/1 to 4/1 SP.

Probandit edged forward slowly with a win and a place today. Small odds so small profits..but a least a move forwards. Badge of Honour winning in the 4.10 at Wolverhampton and a place later for Morbick in the 5.10.

Guess what..

Another losing day!For some reason, in the end thankfully, Probandits email didn't get to me..saving me two points in the process. So only Tipping legends running today and the outcome of the weeks golf tips. I must admit I am feeling totally down about the whole thing at the moment. Its been a while since I have had two weeks of such consistently bad results from all services. Still there is time left in February and all it takes is one special day to get back on track. Though I wish it would hurry up and arrive!

Tipping Legends had two runners today, if they could be called that? The "two pointer" Stick Together in the 4.05 at Towester never settled and was pulled up. Nothing from the other bet either.

Tipping Legends golf also had no return for the weeks bets. So well up in January, it was expected that sort of form couldn't be kept up.

Football to the rescue

A great recovery from Allroundtipster saved the day. The racing again was pretty woeful but at least not too much (further!) damage done to the bank today.

Probandit had as usual a quiet Saturday. Just the one short odds e/w bet with Whiskey Creek at Lingfield. This horse is a regular winner with Probandit, but today only managed a place at 11/4.

Tipping Legends continued its poor vain of form with 10 points bet today on seven horses. Conflict of Interest came closest. I thought he was going to win ....but alas only a place at 7/1. All the others lost and really didn't come close. I should have guessed a poor day was on the cards when in the second race of the day Silver Sedge unseated its rider at the very first fence.

Allroundtipster nearly pulled off a perfect day with only one team not winning in the final double...and boy did they need a good day...as they have been awful for the last few weeks. So four winning bets out of five brought in a tidy haul for the day. But only to counteract the "donkey" losses.

Saved at the last....

Last bet of the day turned a horrible day into only a reasonably bad one.

Two losing bets for Tipping Legends.

Probandit had a busy day with eight horses backed in total. Was heading for a disaster when Mogok Ruby ran on to win at 4/1 in the last bet of the day in the 8.50 at Kempton.

Grateful for profit

Welcome profit today from both services today will help to remove the dark cloud of gloom hanging over my head at the moment.(Think long term!)

One winning strong bet (two pointer) from Tipping Legends was enough to give me nine points of profit.Patsy Finnegan at Doncaster came through at 6/1 (advised at 13/2). Lets hope for a run now!

Probandit produced profit today with a win and a place. Doncosaque won at Lingfield at 6/1 and in the last at Kempton, Halsion Challenge came in third at 5/2.

Oh Dear Oh Dear

Allroundtipster posted another horrific evening. To sum it up they have lost 33 points since Saturday(per the odds I have managed)..probably their worst run ever since the service began. I may be wrong but I have a feeling this service might well close up shop soon....

Whitewash for Tipping Legends today although nearly started so well with Laustra Bad beaten by a nose at 5/1. Another second later in the day for Traffic control as it was beaten by the AP McCoy favourite Minella Theatre. Unfortunately coming second doesn't help the bank.

Only success today was with Probandit. A dutch in the 3.40 at Wolverhampton saw Blacktoft win at 13/8. A second winner appeared in the next race with Desert Hawk winning at 4/1. And finally a place in the 5.10 for Forbidden at 11/2.

No comeback

No major change on the account today to counteract the previous horrendous week.

Probandit lost ground again with its dutching technique. One place only out of six horses spread over three races. Downhill Skier at the last at Wolverhampton managing our only place at 9/2.

Four bets today from Tipping Legends. One winner, being the two point strong bet of the day Le roi Rouge at the 3.25 Carisle. I managed 11/4 with the advised price being 3/1. So at least some profit here.

Dreadful

Weekends, and in fact weeks, like the one that has just passed really test your resolve. I think this is when 70% of people either drop services or play catch up by upping their stake and begin chasing losses. The latter is the road to ruin. Discipline is required. Try to forget about it and go and do something else. You cant win all the time......This is what I remind myself to get me through. So with regards to updates on today's dreadful results here goes.

Probandit had a single one point bet today at Southwell. Favourite, This Ones For Eddy, finished fourth.

Tipping Legends staked four points today. Nearly a good start with Shake the Barley coming in second at 8/1 on an each/way bet. Today's strong bet (Two pointer) King of Leon was running well and suddenly pulled up. The other bet also was pulled up.

Tipping Legends Golf gave no return this week despite a last round rally by Louis Oosthuizen.

Allroundtipster had the second leg of a double of which the first leg won yesterday. The second leg duly lost today to round off a poor weekend from that service.

My wife has left me...

But only for the week! ...she's away to the Canary Islands with the mother in law.Probably a good thing she is away because my mood isn't great after a woeful day of gambling. Allroundtipster and Tipping Legends were in action today and I really wished I could have been on a plane today unable to get the bets on. But alas I did place them...

Allroundtipster had three bets today and one winner, which happened to be the lowest stake bet. Another double will be complete tomorrow but I'll update that result in Sundays figures. The first leg of the double won today.

Tipping Legends had a whitewash today. Was hoping the first full day of jumps for a while would get them back on track. No bets below 7/1 today so it was going to be either a great day or a wipe out. Wipe out it was.

Upward movement!!

A much better day for the racing today, especially at Wolves, moves the account upwards at last.

Probandit at last delivered a good day this month, which nearly puts them back in profit for February. Three winners today all at Wolverhampton. Monte Major started the day nicely with a win at 11/4 in the 2.25. This was followed later at the 4.05 with a win for Flowing Cape at 7/2 and in the 4.40 Incomparable made all and won at 4/1.

Tipping Legends had two bets today, with Bowleaze being withdrawn a few minutes after the bet came through. The other bet Darstardly Dick weakened quickly and finished 10th out of 16.

Downward movement

Tis not the season for horse betting...at the moment anyhow!Averagly busy day with not a lot to show for it.

Probandit again making a nice start to the day with the aptly named Back In The Red winning at 5/1 at Southwell. But again the gamble on the dutch later in the day saw our three horses come 2nd, 3rd and 4th with hardly a half a length between them all and the winner.

Tipping Legends had a few higher odds bets today. However only managed a place with Mr Potter at 9/1. The strong bet of the day , a two pointer, Notabottheronme managed to bother me by coming in a close second. So again so close to a good day.....but yet so far. Maybe the golf will save the day again this weekend?

Two out of three

Two services out of the three active posted profits today, which will help balance the books for February a little better.

Allroundtipster notched up a nice non league double bet. Though I think they are struggling to get a run with the selections hampered by either snow or flooding.

Two bets for Tipping Legends today produced one winner. Grand Palace came in at 4/1(advised at 9/2..my work getting in the way of getting best prices again!) and Young Bertie rolled in last at Lingfield.

Busy day for Probandit....but again no profit. Managed a win with Grand Palace and a place with Marmooq. I feel they are being hampered again with the weather this month. Example today was a late withdrawal of Old Romney at Lingfield. This was part of a dutch and you sort of feel if only half your dutch is in a race the chances of making a profit are badly reduced. Still I'm sure they will pull things round this month..or later in the year.

Short head and luck

Yesterday a short head cost me a 9/1 winner. Today a short head brought me a win in the only race that I bet on.Thankfully I wasn't watching either race live... the stress would be too much!

So Probandits dutch in the 3.50 at Southwell brought me the short head winner of XPres Maite at 4.75(not sure what that is in fractions). Ingleby Arch in the same race finished fourth.

Tipping Legends had a provisional bet today ..a bet only if it reached 2/1. It never did so..no bet.It lost anyhow!

Slow Day

Was just watching the racing headlines and saw the conditions at Plumpton..awful. But congrats to Mr.AP McCoy on his 3,000 win. A true legend who has brought me much profit over the years. Today's results again not the best for the betting bank. It started well but then never delivered.

Probandit saw bets at four races today. The first brought a winner with Just Jimmy at 5/1 and a place for Aggbag at 6/1 in the same race at Wolves. Great start...but ended with three more losers and a place in the last at Wolves.

Tipping legend had two bets today and a short head cost us a good day with Snow Dancer just beaten in the 4.30 at Wolves at 9/1.

Par save

Must admit I never thought betting on golf could be successful with huge numbers playing in each events..but so far this year it is covering losses in the horse racing. Just finished watching Villegas finish third for a return on my each way bet though I sort of knew his third round 74 probably had cost him. So today the rest was as follows.

Probandit again not hitting form, with a single each way bet, finishing in the dreaded fourth position.

Single bet with Tipping Legends proving to be a winner in the form of Royal Envoy at partly 7/2 and balance at 100/30.(My stake restrictions at bookies costing me extra profit again!)

And the golf...Villegas bringing a small each way profit. I mentioned earlier in the week I had missed the bets on the ANZ Ladies Masters. I later managed to stake £100 on Katherine Hull at 5/2 in play to bring in a nice profit. This is not something I normally do. If i miss the bet normally I leave it..hopefully this is not a sign of impatience. However this time I got lucky and it won. Nine times out of ten I probably would have cost myself £100.

Good day..for the bookies!

Total whitewash in the horses today..worst day for a while. Probandit had two dutch attempts today and in both cases the two horses in each race didn't really come close. Tipping Legends had a small number of bets for a Saturday but had a couple of two point bets being 3.25 Kempton Lightning Strike 3/1 and 3.45 Ayr - First look at 4/1. Neither really looked like winning. On top of that the weather reduced the opportunities for AllroundTipster and we only had two bets. One double lost and the other higher point double had one postponement and a win for for Wrexham. So managed to scrape a small profit there. So not a good start to the month but plenty of time left.

3 losers!

Only Tipping Legends in action today and my title tells the story. Three win bets at 4/1, 11/4 and 12/1 all losing. If I could be bothered looking at the stats they supply on win bets on 4/1 or under I would be surprised to find them in profit....well at least that's how it feels to me! System bets are system bets and I will follow them regardless. I can hardly complain with the profit I have made from their tips as a whole. Anyhow time to order a curry and open a nice red and relax. Could be in for another nice weekend of golf profit though its early doors still, and hopefully the weather wont destroy the weekends football and racing.

Return to the jumps

Nice to see the jumps back in action today and we did fairly well with them. Tipping legends had four bets today and we made profit on two of them. L'eau du Nil managed a place at 8/1 and in the final race Borrero came storming in at 10/1 to win fending off a 66/1 outsider.Probandit continues its slow start to the month. The first race saw us back three system horses and one safety bet. If any of the three system horses had come in we would have been in profit. In the end the safety bet in the form of Whiskey Creek saved the race for us. The second race of the day brought us no return and again a loss on the day for Probandit. Most annoyingly I missed two bets in the golf at the ANZ Ladies Masters. My fault though...was busy in work and by the time I remembered the event had already started. Hope they win for other followers though selfishly for myself hope I saved a few points by missing them. Will update once the event is over.

Bets at Last

At last we got some betting done today. However the result was a reduction on the account. All bets today had the feel of speculation rather than real hope. Probandit started the day with a bit of a dutch in the 3.05 at Lingfield. Managed two places but no winner. The later bet saw an outsider win which is always the risk of dutching. Managed a nice 10/1 place with the first Tipping Legend bet, followed up later in the day with a place on Loyal Royal, which Probandit had also tipped. So all in all nice to have the betting back, but no real movement on the account.

Empty bet slips

The weather continues to take a hold on the horse racing. Nearly had a probandit qualifier with Ramvaswani in the 13.10 at Southwell but it didn't fufil all the needed criteria. It came in second at 8/1 so an each way bet would have had me in profit for the day. Having a look at bagging another bonus with the 50% 350 euro reload at Gold Victory but will wait to the weekend so I have more options in trying to find a losing bet and lay it off at betfair. It amazes me how difficult it is to pick losing bets when trying to cash out some of these bonuses. However in general they are very good ways to bump up your betting bank with very little effort. My thanks to bet72 for introducing the idea to me.

Snow bets

Great Britain covered in snow means no sport and no racing. Not sure how many days this will continue for. Anyhow no change to the account and let see what tomorrow brings.

Close but no cigar!

Couple of places from Tipping Legends today, including a 20/1 shot, so was close to a good start to the month, but not quite! Also below is the monthly Profit and Loss for each system. I am thinking of upping my stakes as I have a substantial bank now, however as soon as I do that sods law usually brings me the dreaded record losing streak. Will have a good think about it though.
